Review: Pug Man’s 3 Wishes

Pug Man's 3 Wishes
Pug Man’s 3 Wishes by Sebastian Meschenmoser
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I’d hesitate to share this book with a little one. Pug Man’s 3 Wishes is snarky, cynical, odd, and wonderfully irreverent. It is the perfect gift for the lovable “big kid” curmudgeon in your life. I laughed out loud at the Pug Man illustrations—the sour face, crepey skin, “grandpa” bathrobe and hopeless attitude are classic and capture the essence of what one feels like on a REALLY bad day. Perhaps the worst day. Ever.

Everyone knows a sourpuss. Everyone has a REALLY bad day. What’s life without humor? This book is guaranteed to add a little levity to a cruddy situation or bring a smirk to an otherwise lifeless face. You can’t NOT love Pug Man. He’s in each of us.
